The pellet: a revolutionary process of heating your home. The scheme illustrates synthetically the transformation process of the pellet when subjected to combustion. Thanks to the combined action of solar energy, carbon dioxide, water and dissolved mineral salts, the pellet is renewed constantly. The combustion gives off an amount of carbon monoxide the same as that absorbed and developed by a tree during its growth and natural decomposition in the forest. The combustion of the pellet does not increase the carbon monoxide present in the atmosphere. While the firewood contains bark and various impurities, a pellet of good quality has an ash content of less than 1 per cent of the total weight.
